OD Club and Denstone Association

Hi all you OD's get blogging and let me know what you think of the Denstone Association and the link the OD club should have with it. Do you know about it if  not let me know and I can explain? The AGM is on Saturday 7th. July, as your Dinner Secretqary and member of executive, I need to know  your thought son  both. I have had ten OD's and partners sign up for Dinner and pay their dues. Please let me know the name of  your partner, as it helps when working tables placings. If you don't have a DJ, don't worry, just wear a suit, its you we want to see not the DJ. I grew out of mine years ago when I was a slim 11st. not the 13.5st I am now and I still train five days a week, by walking, cycling, swimming and visiting the gym.Mike Snow rang me on Monday to give his views and those of his fellow OD's cricketers on the relationship between the Club and the association., as they had two  hours to spare after annihilating Ellesmere in the Brewers' Cup as was, can't remember its new name. Well done. He kept me talking for at least an hour. My partner Val had decided to retire to bed when we finished!!! What are your views ? Do you want the two; to associate, amalgamate, join etc.? The Association is up and running with their professionally paid for Online site. I need to know  by the AGM on Sat. 7th.July, so we can have a discussion which includes your views. If you don't  have the facts ring me on my number which is in the Chronicle or email me at henry.rothesay@btinternet.com or put a blog on this site.   Must go Val back from work, and I need a cup of good Yorkshire tea.Henry (Alf) Chamberlain
